The short version: our honey is seasonal and limited, you pay in cash on delivery or by CliQ, we deliver across Jordan, and if anything arrives less than perfect, we put it right.

01About these terms

These terms apply to every order placed on the MAWSIM website. MAWSIM (موسم) is a Jordanian house of seasonal honey based in Amman, Jordan. By placing an order you accept these terms, so please read them before you do.

02Our honey and its seasons

Our honey is seasonal and made in small quantities. Each harvest is limited, and once it is gone it does not return until its next season. Products marked “Coming next season” cannot be ordered; joining a waitlist reserves nothing and commits you to nothing — we simply write when the harvest is ready.

Honey is a natural product. Its colour, texture and flavour change from one harvest to the next, and raw honey crystallises with time; this is natural, not a defect. Our photographs show our products as faithfully as we can, though screens differ.

Like all honey, ours should not be given to babies under twelve months old.

03Prices

Prices are shown in Jordanian dinars (JOD). The delivery fee, any discount and the total are shown at checkout before you confirm your order. If a price is ever displayed wrongly through an obvious error, we will contact you before sending your order, and you may confirm it at the correct price or cancel.

04Orders

When you place an order, we email you a confirmation with your order number; our agreement is made when we confirm it. If a product becomes unavailable after you order — our stock really is limited — we will tell you straight away and refund anything you have already paid.

05Payment

You can pay in two ways:

Cash on delivery — pay the courier in cash when your order arrives.
CliQ — send the total to our alias MAWSIM, with your order number as the reference. We prepare your order once the transfer arrives; if it has not reached us within three days, we may cancel the order.

We do not take card payments, and we will never ask for card details by phone, message or email.

06Delivery

We deliver to every governorate in Jordan. Standard delivery costs JOD 3 within Amman and JOD 4 elsewhere, and is complimentary on orders of JOD 50 or more after any discount. Same-day delivery is available within Amman for orders placed before 2 pm, for JOD 5; it is never complimentary.

Delivery times are estimates: usually one to two working days in Amman and one to three elsewhere. Please make sure someone can receive the order and that the phone number is right. If a delivery fails twice, we will contact you to arrange another attempt, which may carry a fee.

Gift orders are delivered to the recipient you name, with no prices on the packing slip.

07Returns and refunds

Damaged or not right on arrival: tell us within three days of delivery, with a photo, and we will replace the item at no cost or refund it in full.
A change of mind: unopened products in their original condition may be returned within 14 days of delivery. Please contact us first; return delivery is at your cost.
Opened food cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene, unless it was faulty.
Refunds are made by CliQ bank transfer within five working days of our receiving the return. Delivery fees are refunded when the order was faulty or wrong.

Nothing in these terms affects your rights under Jordanian consumer protection law.

08Discount codes

One code per order. Each code carries the conditions published with it, such as a minimum order; codes cannot be exchanged for cash and may end with their promotion.

09The Harvest Passport

Each jar carries a code that opens its Harvest Passport, with information about the harvest it comes from. We publish this information in good faith from our own harvest records, and record dates, quantities and altitudes as accurately as we can.

10Our name and our work

The MAWSIM name, the sidr-branch mark, our labels, photographs and texts belong to MAWSIM. Please do not use them without our permission.

11Liability

We take every care in preparing and delivering your order. As far as the law allows, our liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Any dispute we cannot settle together will be referred to the competent courts of Amman.
